I tried to reach the spark that was burning inside of you, not knowing if it would bring warmth or cold. I remember dad telling me these words when I was little, well, littler. Time and time again they proved to be true, so I'll reach out for you, Emil. This story is respectful to its source material, only a few tweaks have been made as you may have expected with the title. It takes place after the third movie. It's partially a romance but also a big part adventure like the original series. The romance isn't finished, adventure arc 1 is and arc 2 is ongoing.

But it isn't easy to protect them when a girl from their school has a father who is a whaler. And when she tells her father about Cleo, Ashley, Ryan and his sister finds themselves out at sea to stop the whalers.
