Are we all victims of circumstance and environment? If so, what next? 17 year-old Erin Miles, with his over-protective parents and his autistic-spectrum sister has had more than one chance in his life to reflect on these questions, and doesn't have an answer. New to the 'city', and fairly indifferent to the change, he learns more about this than he thought he could through friendships with new people who've struggled with the same questions for years, and comes to see things from a whole new perspective.
Contains: coarse language, adult themes
NOTE: There is a poem I wrote which I intend to have at the beginning of this story. However, since it seems less than half the people who read it went on to read any of the story itself, I've taken it out for at least the time being.
(Please, if anyone has any opinions to share on this work, let me know in the comments. This is an original work and I'm actually pretty excited by it, I really want it to be good so any serious/constructive insights are welcome)
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
