The Creature

Ava Grey Knightly is the adopted daughter of Lyra Knightly. Before this, she was given up as a baby and taken into the care of the government. The want and need for a better military led the government to begin test trials to try and create super soldiers. Ava was two years old when they began injecting her with a serum to try and transform her into shape shifting monster. As a few years past, the side affects were becoming too strong to control and were slowing draining the life out of most of the children. With investment and resources running out fast, the last of the children were killed and laid to rest or so they thought.

Ava was the only child who didn't suffer from any major side effects and a lead scientist saw how powerful she could become. His heart was filled with compassion and as a result: he couldn't bring himself to kill her. Before the dawn rose, he smuggled young Ava out into the blistering cold and entrusted her into the care of the one person who could keep her safe and teach her control.
