Kathrine Bates was a normal 24 year old woman. A bit on the strange side, but normal none the less. She was a bit of a nerd and still lived with her Mom and grandma. She was a klutz and loved to sing and dance, even though she couldn't so the latter very well. Kat, as she was called, also loved to read and she had a already graduated from college. If you were a friend, you would know all these things.
But there was one thing no one knew about Kat. And that was that she remembered.
She remembered her first day of preschool, and he 3rd birthday, and even when she tripped and broke her ankle when she was 2. But this wasn't the only thing she remembered. Kat, as unbelievable as it was, remembered the day she was born. And she remembered a life before that. A life where she had the same family, except she was the middle child instead of the youngest, most of all, Kat remembered a show she used to watch in that other life. A show she had loved and obsessed over. A show called Supernatural
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
