There were really only two things happening in Seattle, Wa. in the 90's...music, and murder.
Now one of those is a hell of a lot less fun than the other, so let's focus on the fun one, yeah?
The music scene in Seattle was unmatched. Grunge bands in every bar, rap battles in every club, loud, vibrant, angry, overwhelming, and intoxicating.
There were venues and record shops on almost every corner, and our story begins with owners of those very establishments.
Eddie Valentine owned a favorite local venue, The Showbox, downtown. It's home to some of the rowdiest rock shows in the city, with an array of famous guests, but gives anyone a chance to shine on open mic nights.
One particular night, after visiting The Showbox regularly, Ronnie found herself amused and excited by a tall Brit with long hair as he shouted out lyrics over the crowd.
He had a furrowed brow, a sexy smirk, and the face of a fucking angel with just enough attitude that he kept her on her toes.
The two of them, combined with their group of friends, have a dream of spending their days in a cloud of smoke, surrounded by music and sex and fun.
But, like most things in life, things don't go according to plan.
When the first dead body turns up outside The Showbox, it's written off as a tragic situation with an unfortunate dump site.
When the sixth body turns up outside The Showbox, nobody is safe.
How well do you know your neighbors?
Your co-workers?
Your friends?
