Caroline woke up in the middle of the night to her phone going off like crazy by an unknown number and is told that she must come to New Orleans this instant. The girl on the phone sounds desperate so Caroline lets her curiosity and compassion drive as she speeds down the highway towards NOLA.
Little did she know that she would be handed a task that is of the utmost importance, some surprises along the way including our favorite Doppelganger Katherine!
P.S, Klaus slept with the werewolf Hayley. Caroline found out Tyler was cheating then several months later Caroline accepted her feelings for Klaus and they made love. This story takes place 2 weeks after that.
Also, they gave Silas the cure after finding out the side wouldn't collapse but his magic would disperse and affect other supernatural beings that he has affected. Katherine is still alive and still a 500-year-old badass.
Everyone thinks Katherine did die because Silas made everyone believe she was dying and she just disappeared after that so everyone just accepted that she died but Caroline kind of missed her not that she said this out loud but Caroline prefers Katherine over Elena.
