The King of Scotland fell ill in the early years of his daughter Anne's life. Once he died, her mother set out to preserve her royal chances and found a suitor to fit her daughter's needs. So they moved to France, where Anne and her suitor, Francis, had their first encounter. Being so young, they weren't full aware of their relationships implications. That being said, they grew in bitter, but strong friendship.
Once old enough to wed, they did, and from their binding they had a daughter named Mari.
Follow Anne, Francis, Mari and their dysfunctional family through a multi-part story of royal dilemmas.
