Calypso was the goddess nymph of the mythical island of Ogygia, a daughter of the Titan Atlas. She detained the hero Odysseus for many years during his wanderings after the fall of Troy.

But she longed for adventure, dreamt of a life where she could waltz with death, hoped to one day feel alive. But then the crew found her, and the moment the captain laid eyes upon her, she knew her life had changed forever.

back in the 1400s in Greece it was believed the forests were guarded by nymphs, the children of Ceres the goddess of Earth. They were believed to look as the most gorgeous humans to roam the world, but the deadliest as well. Each nymph has its own elemental power. Earth, air and water. Whoever dared to harm any living creature of the forest would face the wrath of Ceres, or worse, her nymphs.

We all know the story of how Hades's kidnapped Persephone from her mother and his sister Demeter, brought her to the Underworld and tricked her by eating a Pomegranate that forces her to spend half the year in the Underworld with him. While Persephone may have been reluctant to be with the King of The Underworld at first, she slowly grew to love it and her husband. Hades being the most hated God received a curse from Persephone father, Zeus, that any child Hades and Persephone had together would destroy the world as we know it. Neglecting to tell his young wife this Persephone becomes pregnant. Excited to tell her husband about the news when she gets back to the underworld, her mother let's her know of the curse that Zeus has put on the child. Demeter urges her to be rid of the child, but Persephone, Goddess of Fertility denies the request and hides her pregnancy from all. Once Persephone has the child Zeus and Hades find out, so she asks Athena and Aphrodite for protection of the beautiful little girl. They counteract the little girls curse by providing the girl with a future love so strong, it will kill the darkness inside of her. This is the story of that girl, Helena, Daughter Of Hades.

Aeolus provides him with a bag containing tempestuous winds, strictly warning him not to open it. Despite Odysseus's instructions, his crew, spurred by Eurylochus's impulsive curiosity and weariness, opens the bag as they near Ithaca. This act unleashes the malevolent and furious spirit of Aeolus, causing her to create a catastrophic storm that throws their ship off course and lands them in the territory known as the Land of The Giants
