LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE: TEN INSPIRATIONAL LESSONS FROM MANDELA'S LIFE by JakkyBee

INTRODUCTION Nelson "Madiba" Mandela without doubt is one of the most inspiring figures to have lived on this earth. Although he wasn't some great general, inventor or founder of a religious faith, Mandela embodied the greatness of the human being. Rising above dire social, political and human limitations, Mandela showed that anyone with a simple belief and commitment to that belief can become great. With many examples of bad leadership, pervasive poverty and corruption, there is seemingly little that is inspiring about the African continent for many young African like me. Yet all over the continent, there are good people who by the example of their commitment to doing their best, continue to serve as inspiration for their families and communities. Nelson Mandela is one of such. By his beliefs and actions, Mandela and countless Africans show that anyone irrespective of their background can rise above any limitations to become great. Sacrificing the usual trappings of a normal life; freedom, family and personal comfort, Mandela spent 27 years in prison for daring to live up to his beliefs, speaking up for and insisting on the rights of other black South Africans. He underscores the importance of personal courage and sacrifice in the pursuit of our ideals and visions. Mandela's actions teach us to that it is our right and responsibility to live a truly authentic, vibrant and purposeful life. He teaches us to stay true to who we are, stretch the boundaries of personal limitations and social restrictions in order to live our best life. Gleaned from the example of his life, the ten lessons (plus one) in this e-book will inspire you to be the best version of yourself and live the life you were meant to live.

But they forget to listen and that is what will lead them to their doom ------------------------ Ayah Beizeen is a sixteen-year-old village girl with a peaceful and content life. She has loving parents, a supportive elder brother and an adorable younger brother. But she is different: Ayah was born mute. She didn't cry when she was delivered and hasn't uttered a word ever since. Sometimes, she wishes she could - she was envious of everyone who could convey their emotions through words, for she has no other option but to keep them bottled up inside her. However, Ayah Beizeen has a special friend from the age of five, when she was found on her terrace staring at the Moon. She talks to the Moon and it listens. Talking to the Moon is the only way, Ayah knows, to share her feelings. One night, the Moon comes with strange tidings - it says that everything that she knew about her life is going to change. She has somehow stumbled upon a strange path and the destination is uncertain. It all depends on the choices she makes. A tale of love, heartbreak, dreams, failures but above all - redemption. The Five Stages of Transition: From deception to liberty by TimosKamvysis

The miracle is present, next to and within you. The miracle is you. When you write poetry you hide in a bottle a message written on paper. Then you ship it in the ocean and you let it travel across the world. One day, somebody may graciously find it below a steep rock on the beach and be curious enough to open it. Then he will read the message enclosed. For poetry time is irrelevant and to be specific this poetry has defied time and difficulties. The first chapter 'Crash the Idols' is a sociological approach in the poetry of the dogma, VERITAS (Latin meaning of truth), and images that society encourages people to believe. Are these true, do they have any meaning at all? Or they are just hallucinations of the society of consumption? The second chapter 'The transformations of Vishnu' is a reference to the changes of Vishnu into different forms and existences according to Indian scripts. We are subject to a continuous and ruthless change, since the time we were born. This change is considered a determining factor of survivorship. The 'Myth story of an adventurer' is wandering in the ascetic communities of Mount Athos with a history of more than 1000 years. The incessant seeking of light and freedom is a driving force of interpreting modern life with a more charismatic byzantine approach, in regards to philosophy and theology. 'Dialogues of Despair' is a modern song of songs, where contradictory powers clash and the winner is thirst. Thirst for life and Thirst for Knowledge. Thirst of Love and Thirst for Sacrifice. 'The Silent Time of mysticism' is about the inexplicable echo of our memories, our faith, our emotions, and death right in the corner. The understanding of our Being is an understanding of the Collective Being and contribution to that.
