Well, here it is!
she warbles. "But more excitement to come! It's time to choose our boy tribute!" Clearly hoping to contain her tenuous hair situation, she plants one hand on her head as she crosses to the ball that contains that boy's names and I'm repeating it's not me, not me in my head when she reads out the name and it is me!
 The only thing I can think is No! No! It can't be me! I slowly walk towards the stage and try to control my emotions, to remain an emotionless expression. I walk on the stage and search the crowd for Jackie, and there he is looking back at me with a guilty expression in his eyes and I know that I'm doomed.
