It was a usual night for Alexander, his father was departing for a mission and he was to be left to his own devices until he returned, that was until the queen knocked on his door, looking frazzled and in need of help. The King has been acting odd behind closed doors and Alexander needs to deduce the reason why. He collaborates with the queen in secret, using his alchemy and tarot to come to a conclusion as to the king's sudden behavioral switch. Along the way, he meets new people and starts new stories, desperate to untangle the mystery of the king's new hidden tyranny.
