She is trying to escape her reality of Covid and other events happening in her world by playing  video games.  She orders a VR headset and prepares to play Fallout 4 VR. She is well versed in the Fallout universe, but what happens when she actually travels there? Will she find her way home or try to make the best of this scorched earth?
This is kind of a Fallout 4 playthrough with a lot of plot twists and different character development.  Much like any RPG, protagonist learns that she can use game theory to change the outcome of events in the Fallout 4 story. Her simply being there has already triggered some world changing reactions.
Disclaimer: Bethesda owns all of the Fallout 4 dialog used in this story. I am just using it to show why the protagonist  believes she is in a video game. Also a lot of the music references got me through Covid. These songs, like the songs  in the Fallout series can be relevant to the story.All Rights Reserved

Fallout is based on what people in 1998 would think people in 1950 would imagine the world would be like in the 2070s, then nuked. Fallout is more about the people and communities that try to move forward after a nuclear devestation, those who thrive, and then those who are drifting off, and those who have hit such a bottom that they have no further to fall. Many communities will rise from the nuclear ash for most to fail. In this world, there are no good guys; there are no bad guys. Everyone is just trying to get by and survive. The story takes a first-person point of view from a character who is pushed out of her home and into an unknown world. This world is mostly under control by two main factions at war though; one being the self-proclaimed United States and the other being the self-proclaimed owners of the counter, the Enclave. This story has many ups and downs and level offs. It has frustrations, situations, shows emotion, and thinking of the main character. It will read dynamically in its speed and depth in specific details as this girl looks for a new home in the post-nuclear wasteland in the year of 2300.

Female Sole Survivor (Y/N) A.K.A 'Charmer's meeting and befriending of the ex-mercenary MacCready in Fallout 4. This is my realistic interpretation of how it would feel, to be the sole survivor trying to find a second chance at living, in the wasteland, based on the events in the game. My imagining of what was said in between missions and how the trust between them formed. Slowish-burn, friends-to-lovers romance, with occasional angst and grief, commonly found in the Wasteland. Both Charmer and MacCready deal with having lost their first loves, due to circumstances beyond their control, yet somehow still manage to fall in love again. Charmer and Robert both face hardships along their journey towards saving their children. Will their newly budded romance be able to withstand the pressure? Or will it prove to be too much for these hardened individuals to take? This story follows and retells quests mostly for timeline and plot purposes. Based heavily on my recent/current playthrough, where I did all of MacCready's companion quests early in the game. Caution Mature Content: violence, death, language, drug-use, mental health issues and descriptive sexual content.

Things become complicated however when she comes across a Lone Wanderer in Megaton who is looking for his father. It's when it's mentioned that his father had a Brotherhood of Steel friend when Artemis takes interest and offers to go with him since she's also on her way to them. On their journey they come across the Enclave, an old enemy of the Brotherhood. Things come to a head as to who holds the Jefferson Memorial, the sight of Project Purity and war immediately breaks out between the two factions. A war deciding if the region gets fresh, clean water, or to make it so everyone in the wasteland becomes sick.
