there were always these cliqes or groups in school, the nerds, geeks, art kids, the sports kids, and the popular kids. of course there were others but they won't really play a role in this story so I'm not gonna put them down. ahem. Dream, the school football teams charming quarterback, and one of the hardest players on the team. he's been in the newspapers, countless times on social media going around the local area, not to mention all the girls falling for him. then there's George, the cocky and sarcastic and slightly outcast of the popular group. even though he was techneclly apart of that "popular" group, he was known as the twink of the rest of the pack. when not hanging out with the other stuck up people he would be playing Minecraft with his friends Karl, and Quackity. although he was of the male gender, George tended to hang out with the popular girls more then the guys....I wonder why he's called a twink.

The Cage of the Past
I didn't want to do the things I did, didn't revel in other people's pain, but I did what I had to to survive. At least that's what I tell myself. The people left only care about themselves, if they didn't care that I murdered someone, why should I? ----- After a fatal war that caused the world's governments to collapse, the world fell into chaos that it never recovered from. Now the wealthy control everything, using mercenaries that rely on them to stay afloat to carry out their dirty work. Dream was one of these mercenaries, one of the most skilled that their was. He was willing to do what he had to, never thought twice about ending someone's life in the blink of an eye, that is until he was instructed to kill someone, someone he cared deeply for without a real reason to. This caused his entire way of life to go into turmoil, so why is he willing to risk everything for some random boy he met on the street? ----- (TW!!!!: blood, violence, death, use of weaponry, slight mention of mental manipulation, though not much) if any of these things affect you, DO NOT read on, for they will be periodic themes throughout the entirety of the story. Dream and George enjoy a comfortable life as a couple in L'manburg; however, when the king orders them to his castle, their life gets thrown into chaos. The king separates the two of them before sending Dream on a quest to kill a traitor. On the way, the king discovers George is not all he seems. This gives the king greater interest in him, so he decides to keep George. Will Dream let him get away with his evil plans, or will he bring hell upon the kingdom? This story will mainly focus on DreamNotFound though it will have other ships. Tommy and tubbo grew up as brothers. Not all of the Dream SMP members will be present. Also, if any content creators state they are uncomfortable with fanfiction, I will take down the story. dream, george, nick, and karl are all broke college kids that put all (what was left) of their savings into their band. they get small gigs sometimes, but nothing too big. when dream gets sudden feelings for george, he doesn't know how to act since george has his eyes on a girl that shows up to their first show.
