when your only home is destroyed and many of your kind has died what are you going to do?

an astroid was heading to the planet of the dragons. With a radius of 200 km it was big enough to destroy the planet that the dragons called home. They tried to save it but all they did as fail, it was hopeless. They tied to save all the dragons but many still died, only about 10% of the dragons had surived this Cataclysmic event .
