After the awakening of supers the world may have won, but those who fought to save lives suffered the greatest loss.
This is the story of a hero named Warp. He was one of the few people the chose to help during the Awakening, a world-wide event where everything descended into chaos. After one second the whole world changed, and every last person on earth had gained some kind of "ability". Luckily nearly 99.8% of people had a very weak ability or one that needed to be trained heavily to be used. Though that still leaves nearly 15 million very dangerous people and not all of them have the will of a hero.
Follow this exciting adventure where Zackary Conneily, also known as Warp, tries to recover after the awakening. While seeing his journey through a multi-government mandated academy for "superiorly gifted superhumans". Though mainly known by the world as SGS Academy.

Hybrid: The Awakening
Nobody expects something supernatural to happen to them. Those kind of things only happened in comics. Fairy Tales.
