Primrosedawn hates the way clan life works, all the rules are too much for her to handle upholding. Her family says that she'll learn to respect them yet she never did. The appeal of becoming a warrior has vanished when she became apprenticed to her mentor-Aspenbreeze, who constantly shoved the Warrior Code in her face, and ever since she felt pressured to do everything perfectly.
But when a handsome young tom by the name of Slate appears with a large group of rogues called The Bond, Primrosedawn becomes interested in their goal. They promise nothing but freedom to anyone who joins, only a little sacrifice is needed to become a 'Bonded'. She expects nothing less than being free when she joins Slate and his clan of rogues, but when a death occurs and Slate starts blatantly killing any cat he suspects to be the murderer, Primrosedawn realizes the huge mistake she made.
Now she and a few other clan-cats must find a way from the rogue group before they too fall to the claws of The Bond.

As they get older, the time grows nearer for them to choose successors who will receive their immortality which has been passed on to them by their own mentors. She loves her clanmates dearly, but the clan deputy seems to watch their every move, just waiting for any cat to slip up. But it's the clan she was raised in. So, she should be loyal to them, right? Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it.
