The Prophecy
Doctor Winnie Allen just wanted to contribute to the war effort. She had no idea that when she volunteered her services to train medics in the paratrooper division that she would end up on the other side of the world and risking her life for these men. She had no idea that everything wrong with her life was going to compound in the middle of a world war. Her major concern was her brothers, all scattered in different theaters of the war. She certainly had no intention of letting anyone worm their way into her heart-friend or not. But fate has its own plans-and so does the war.
The Old Breed
By 1943, World War II has engulfed the world and America finds itself fighting a two front war against both Europe and the Pacific. The Army smashes against the concrete walls of Fortress Europe in the west while on the other side of the globe, the men of the Marine Corps find themselves embedded in the brutal Pacific Theater. In St. Paul, Minnesota, Max Wilson enlists in the Marines in pursuit of duty and honor. He leaves behind his family, his life, and mainly, his recent fiancée. Quickly thrust into a world hellbent on destroying itself, Max must learn to bond with his comrades, throw away his morality, and survive in some of the most brutal environments on the planet. The enemy will not surrender. The only way to win is total war. And even that may not be enough to make it out alive.Complete
