Iris has been mentally abused and physically abused ever since her mother's death caused by her own father.

Iris has been working non stop so she can finally leave her disgusting father.

She left for Gotham city at age 18 leaving her evil father to rot.

she soon realizes Gotham has lots of hero's and villains she's always known that they existed all over the world but she didn't know a majority of them lived here of all place.
