Nico has been hurt. Hurt by someone close to him. He finds solace in Leo Valdez, the loud, and outgoing Hephaestus boy. The last person anyone would have ever thought he'd be close to.
Leo is left out. All his friends have their partners to keep them company. Recently, Nico has been clinging to him, not that he minds, it's just odd. Before they know it, they are head-over-heels for each other.
Some love heals, while others destroy. This one is particularly destructive.
