If you asked me what I thought my life would be like a year ago I would have told you I thought I would have died that night my town was attacked. Only ten of us were left. Now I'm in a new state, surrounded by other people who were left behind by the intruders. What's worse is that they're either all way younger or way older than me. No one knows what it's like to be a 20 something year old in a post apocalyptic world.

My mom brought the evil home with her and there was no escaping it. That's when I learned that fairy tales were just that: fairy tales. The bad stuff is real, though. The difference is that I now know that the monsters and evil villains don't always wear capes and ugly scars. No: most of the time, they appear normal.
