Park Hae-Ri is a Korean-Indian girl who is currently in university with her two best friends, Jessica Myres and Choi Min-Jae. For her, this is her dream university life, because what could be better than getting accepted in your favourite University AND getting to go there with your best friends, along with having extremely supporting parents and an elder brother? Hae-Ri wasn't expecting anything else from her life, but a twist of events take place when she bumps into a handsome Korean-American guy (Hae-Jun)at a new convenience store!
Hae-Ri and Hae-Jun start hanging out when they realise that they are from the same Uni, and there relationship builds into something more, but things get complicated when Min-Jae confesses his feelings for her.
To make things worse, Hae-Ri struggles with family problems that are truly stressful.

My heart started racing. Our faces were a couple of inches apart, and I thought he was going to kiss me, but he didn't. He wrapped his arms around me, and I silently clung on to him as he buried his face in my shoulder. I suddenly felt a shot of happiness, despite the situation. I foolishly smiled to myself, and I wished that this moment would last a little while longer, if not forever.
