It's the spring of 1868 and Alice Kingsleigh finds herself in a doorway. It is a crudely carved sort of doorway, certainly not meant for the everyday comings and goings of proper society ladies. The promises from the other side frighten her, but she leaves nothing behind, and approaches the possibility of everything before her.

Conversely, it is also April 1927 and Josef Stalin is mourning the loss of his second wife in the centre of a promising bud of the Socialist Future. He knows not how he will continue to find the strength to bring light to the Soviet peoples, but his answer may come where he least expects it.

In the future, there is no medicine that can save you. The government is gone. The days are hot, and the dangers many. Welcome to the continent of Aotearoa. The country of Gossfordshire is in crisis - the King is dead, his children are being murdered, and trade with their neighboring country Motueka has dried up leaving Gossfordshire on the brink of starvation. Ritty, the King's son, seeks to restore the peace and bring Gossfordshire back to its glory days, but his efforts are increasingly hampered by Randall, the head councilman-come-dictator, who sets out to bring the kingdom under his control. Also stifling Rittys goals of normalcy is Magnus, aided by councilwoman Thatcher, who sees a much more egalitarian vision for the future of Gossfordshire. Between Randall's aim of national domination, Rittys want for normality, Thatcher and Magnus's revolution, and a mass migration crisis moving upwards from the Southern States, only one thing can be certain; Gossfordshire is entirely unprepared for what is coming. Completed: 10/23/21 Over the course of a relationship, couples go through many different stages; from lust to trust. "I, Margaret Isobel 𝒩𝒾𝒸𝒽𝚘𝓁𝓈𝚘𝓃 take you... ...Annika Rose 𝒱𝒶𝓁𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑒 to be my wife, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish, till death us do part." Marriage involves a test of dealing with change. There are some changes that commonly occur, however, there are some not so common changes that can make or break a relationship. "I love you but I can't be with you right now." "That - that's only fair. But please promise me, you'll come back home tonight?" "I honestly, I'd rather not. But I will be back tomorrow so we can talk properly, without me wanting to hurt you back."
