Kaiton Smoke has this special gift; he can see the auras of people. More specifically, the auras tell him when people will die. If your aura is green, you will die at an old age, most likely from a heart attack. If it's yellow, you'll die of cancer, or some other disease. But if it's red, you will die of murder or suicide, a violent death. People's colors can change, however. Kaiton can watch someone chug an energy drink and watch their green turn into a sickly yellow. He can watch a couple fight in the hall and watch one of their greens turn into a muddy red. Kaiton walked into his class earlier than everybody else, as usual. He watched the stream of fellow students filter through. There was one problem. Everybody was glowing red. And then the professor walked in, smiling a disgustingly wide grin. The professor was glowing a color he had never Seen before. He was glowing white. And he locked the door.

I looked at him in shock, "How do you know that?" "I know a lot of things about you, Ms. Prior, even things you don't know yourself." Excuse me? "From what you can do," he paused giving me a look before directing his gaze back at the field. "To your eye color. Your parents have blue ones, so I don't see how that works." What? He continued without question, "You are still a mystery to us, as you have never showed any signs of power before, so it's sort of confusing." He paused for a few seconds them said, "You're different; you have an ability. You're a Supernatural." "Ok, I really need to go so..." I began walking back, but he stuck out his arm to block me. And that's when it happened. Flames rose on his arms, lighting them on fire. I backed up, feeling the heat radiate off his arms. I was in utter shock, yet he looked relaxed, amused even. "What the hell are you?" I jumped back, and the fire went out, a smirk rising on his face. "I'm just like you." ***** Kayla Prior has always been a popular girl, and everyone looks up to her.
