Samuel Read has been plagued by nightmares and suffering from paranoia for weeks now. He constantly felt like he was being stalked, and kept noticing strange things out of the corner of his eye.
His life was by no means ideal. Abandoned by his mother before he could talk and left to bare the brunt of his alcoholic father's rage. But when he finally finds out what has been stalking him, his life will completely change.
Is that change for better or worse? Well, you decide. Does being kidnapped to an alternate reality filled with a different race that views you as a inferior, while slowly turning into the beast that infected you, with no way of returning home sound better or worse?

First started in 2015, this story is at 50k+ words, but was removed when a plotting hiccup was encountered. I now intend to split it into three parts, and this is the complete Part 1.
