The desert's good at hiding things, some more dangerous than others, and it's up to four strangers to uncover the disease festering just beneath the sands... Welcome to Forerunners, a fan continuation of the Harbingers written by some of my favorite authors, Frank Peretti, Bill Myers, Angela Hunt, Alton Ganskey, and Jeff Gerke. You don't have to be a Harbinger's fan to read this, but it will enhance your reader experience. That being said, Emilie, Ami, and I (Ellie) came together after reading the Harbingers for the third time. This last time, out loud to each other. Something wouldn't let us move on from these stories. They're a part of us. That's when I came up with idea for a fan fiction sequel. We've had our ups and downs. Community writing is not easy, but it is an adventure, and we've grown closer and learned more than we would have if we hadn't taken this journey. Jericho starts with Daniel, the last Harbinger, all grown up at eighteen years old and just trying to enjoy his now relatively normal, safe life. But when a graduation present to himself, visiting the old tattoo parlor, becomes the catalyst to a new adventure, Daniel has to ask himself, is he ready for this all to start again? Quite literally crashing into the lives of three new faces, will he be able to come to terms with the idea of replacing the first people he ever called family? There's Isabella Talbot, the kindhearted, Hispanic beauty with an incredible, healing gift. Kat Turner, a talented artist with a smart mouth and a fierce attitude. And Ben Carter, a brooding loner with more to him than meets the eye. Thrown together in a supernatural turn of events, they must work together to solve the mysteries waiting just outside their small, Californian town. Disclaimer We do not own the Harbingers, any of the characters, or ideas brought to life in the original series. All rights go to the wonderful authors named at the top. We only own the characters and plots we created.

"Why didn't you wait for backup?" He yelled. "I didn't want him to get away." I said, walking further into the room. "You disobeyed my direct order." He said, still yelling. "Would you have rather me let him get away?" I said, getting louder. Not quite as loud as him. "You could have been shot." He said, still yelling. He took a step closer to me. "I know." "You could have been killed." He said, softer. "I know." I said, almost a whisper. "Your insubordination could have ended in death Catherine." He yelled inches away from my face. "I know." I said, getting louder. "I don't know how you could be so careless." He said, continuing to yell. "I'm sorry." "You're sorry?" He said, yelling. He put his thumb and middle finger on the bridge of his nose. "Hotch, I-" his lips came crashing onto mine.
