You Know Why

I hate her. Well, I hated her. She was so horrible to me. I could never understand why. At first I figured it was because I was faster than her. But I realized that that wasn't why she hated me. In fact she didn't hate me at all. Which I came to realize when we got stuck in a room together for hours, after I 'pushed' her in a race. (Which I did not do just so we're clear.) And I started to see that she was different. Different than anyone I had ever met. And she made me happy. God, she made me so happy. But then I started to get these... feelings. Feelings I should not be feeling towards my best friend. But I didn't think it was just me. She was the one who would move the extra inch closer to me. She was the one who would look at my way longer than your supposed to look at your best friend. I tried to convince myself I was crazy. But the way she danced next to me, our breaths melted together, her gaze locked on mine. But I loved Evan, I love him. Not her. But what if... What if I loved Evan, but I was in love with her?
