I took his hands in mine frantically, causing his eyes to meet mine. "Then hand over the Tesseract and come home, Loki. Please." "I can't." He pulled away. "If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. "I still love you." ___________________________________________ (Y/N) Ísveig thought she'd made peace with Loki's death. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him for everything he had done, obviously, but she was finally beginning to live the life she always wanted. She was no longer deemed future queen of Asgard, and she was slowly learning to control her amplified ice powers. That is, until the god of mischief decides to attack New York and steal the Tesseract. Now (Y/N) must again face her inner demons as her powers quickly deem too much for her to handle, and all her feelings for Loki resurface even though she forces herself to see him as the enemy. Only time will tell if her, along with the Avengers, can put a stop to his schemes, or if New York will ultimately be engulfed by a thick layer of snow, ice, and death. ___________________________________________ BOOK 2 in the Loki x (Y/N) Ísveig series. Can the Lovely Jane Foster help him out and discover the cruel truth about his past? As well as help him survive the cruel reality of earth? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'He opened the book and perused through the pages until he found the chapter called Loki and decided to read it to find out what stories and legends told about him. ...god of mischief...Odinson...blah blah blah...........evil....warrior.....foolish.....died in battle.......sacrifice......Asgard.....immortal....blah blah blah... It made him angry, it was filled with cold-hearted lies! He couldn't believe people thought so badly of him, well he had tried to take over Asgard a couple of times and Midgard, and both times he had almost succeeded if his brother hadn't stopped him. He could not hold in his anger anymore and he threw Odin's Norse Mythology book across the room which made a loud thud on the wall.'
