Charlee (short for Charlotte) White is a eighth grade girl who tries her hardest to fit in but it doesn't necessarily work. 
Mathew Axton is an eighth grade boy who a lot of people don't like due to his sarcasm but what they don't know is it's all an act.
Charlee has been in love with Mathew for months now but he's barely noticed her, and is constantly with her friend. 
Mathew has been in love with Charlee all year, but is afraid to talk to her, because a lot of people don't like him and he's afraid she won't either.
Charlee thinks Mathew likes her friend.
Mathew thinks Charlee hates him. 
But they love each other, and love is an amazing thing. What will happen? Will they tell each other they love each other and be forever happy? Or will they both come out... with a broken heart?
