After three years Walburga is told to go back to London but Regulus doesn't want to leave and proposes Sirius comes to care for him in America. Walburga agrees and Sirius comes to America where he reunites with his old friends James, Peter, Lily, and Marlene. He also meets Regulus's new friend Remus Lupin who was a friend of James' after Sirius left. When Remus doesn't show up at Hogwarts, Sirius is faced with the challenge of moving past old quarrels and helping his friend. Is he worthy of Remus? Is he worthy of his friends? Most of what you are about to read was written around three years ago during a difficult period in my life. I won't go into the details of such things here, but I can say that writing about the Marauders, often daily at the time, was an escape for me and what was initially a plan for a cohesive second installment of my "Mirror Moon" story quickly changed into something that resembled a collection of moments. I figured I'd never be able to share it because the story doesn't run smoothly, but when I opened the document today and saw that I'd written over 170,000 words, I knew that I needed to comb through it and find the individual stories within.
