Blaze Pierce grew up in the streets of New York. Suddenly, she moves to Tulsa, Oklahoma. She'll make some friendships and close bonds, but many enemies. Maybe even find the love she unknowingly wanted. She's a tough girl, but one man makes her heart melt.
"Something about you makes me feel a little more alive and far less lost."
"What do you mean, Soda?"
"I... I think I love you, Blaze."
"You don't know me."
"I want to, though."
"Soda... you don't love me. You can't."
"But I do... T-there's something about you I can't explain. But... whatever it is it makes me want you in ways I can't describe."
In that moment, I wanted him to kiss me. I lost all confidence and courage. Instead of doing what I wanted to happen, I ruined it.
"A lot of people want me."
Soda stood there, hurt by the words he was hearing. He was determined to show her his love for her.
And the sweet little angel couldn't keep his eyes off the devil.
