When Andrias drops Sprig out of the Newtopian Castle, he is not caught by Sasha who jumped to save him. He returns as a ghost that only Anne can see. Sprig has to watch Hop Pop and Polly mourn him and can do nothing to help them.
Meanwhile, Sasha has to deal with the fall out of true colors, and she blames herself for Sprig's death. She and Grime return to Wartwood to lead the rebellion with some friends. How will Anne and Sasha find each other again, and what happened to Marcy? And can anything be done to resurrect Sprig?
