In all of Remnant's existence there were only 2 things that were considered monster. These where the Grimm, the monsters of darkness and the Dragons, the monsters of elements. These two different kind of monsters are each other's natural enemies. Both are incredibly hard to deal with and require vastly different methods to kill. For this reason alone there are 2 different professions. The Huntsman for the Grimm and the Hunters for the Dragons. The population of dragons is on the rise, but the amount of hunters can't keep up with. Thus the hunters from Vale decide to contact Beacon and send some of their most skilled hunters to come there to teach the art of the hunt.
