Tigress → Thomas Shelby

Thomas Shelby is beguiling, brilliant and brutal. He can't afford to be anything else, for keeping a grip on Birmingham's criminal empire is no easy feat. Even with family and manpower, some days are much worse than others.

So how the hell does the Tigress - having dropped out of the sky without the slightest understanding of English, no more than two identical bodyguards by her side and, more importantly, a woman - keep the sprawling red canopy of Chinatown under control?

Ambitions are great, and as its name suggests, Small Heath isn't big enough to accommodate all. Shelby and the Tigress butt heads, rubbing each other the wrong way like flint against stone, both finding the other despicable, traitorous and too smart for their own good.

But as secrets come to light and lives are threatened, they find that perhaps they have more in common than they think. After all, flint and stone make sparks, and sparks can turn into roaring fires.
