Gods are notorious for making a mess of things and leaving others to deal with the aftermath. They take no responsibility, and now the universe bears the consequences.
So what happens when a god decides to live amongst mortals?
And what happens when that same god loses everything she cherished, but gains so much more.
Meláni is new to the mortal realm, and plans to live her new found life to the fullest. Joined by friends who she comes to realise are more like family, she grows to be widely loved and respected. Something she always craved.
But the gods are not happy with her decision, as it threatens to destroy everything they've built, and the secrets they've sworn to keep hidden. Soon she has to fight alongside her new found family to keep what she holds most dear, or risk losing it all.
Are humans worth saving? That is the question that plagues her mind day in and day out. Because for every world Meláni has seen grow and prosper, she's witnessed just as many fall to ash and ruin.
But this world will be different. With her help, this one will thrive. Unless she's too late. It won't be easy, but the future depends on it.

She came to mock Norah for being gullible and reveal her and the crown prince conspired against her. To hear all this, the little will that was left of her was gone and she was filled with rage and sadness. When brought to the guillotine she shouted her curses to the whole empire and imperial family. The blade fell and she took her last breath but that doesn't mean her story end there. By a miracle she regressed to her 17-year-old self. Now she plans to get revenge on the empire and destroy it beyond measures. And nothing will stop her.

Not Giving Into Fate
I was the daughter of Duke Solon, I thought I was the last child. My elder brother is following in my father's stead. We were never really close. We both share my father's personality, a wedge that makes it hard for the three of us to talk to one another. It was fine, living like that, I mean. I was the daughter of the Duke, engaged to the Prince who didn't seem to care that much about the engagement. I was the Master of Ancient Magic at the Magic Tower. I had everything and I was stronger than most. The only terrible thing was that on my coming of age ceremony, it was all ruined. Catherina broke into my ball, claiming to be the daughter of some woman and my father. She looked like her mother and acted like her to gain my father's affection, society's adoration and the Prince's love. For two years she ruined me up to the point of my death. She somehow was able to frame me and villainize me as she stole my fiancé and life. She continued doing so until I somehow was framed for attempted murder. My father called me a traitor and a liar, the Prince sentenced my death and no one stopped it. I woke in my body again, 18 years old and with a plan. I don't want the Prince who will ridicule me, embarrass me and choose the woman over me. I don't care for all those who supported her over me. I had one plan. Kill her before she kills me.

But a dozen generations have passed and the Blessed have not been seen in decades, becoming nothing more than a story. But the story is not finished yet. To remind the realm of the chaos and destruction birthed by war, the Gods showered the realm with meteors as 8 newborns received the last Blessing of the Lords. As the last children to be touched by the Gods, they will be hunted by those who long for chaos to engulf the realm. They will be tempted to use their shared knowledge for their own gain. This story is a romantic fantasy set in the future. Keep in mind each chapter is 10 page long. In the year 2200, the world is no longer ruled by presidents or individual governments. The entire globe is ruled by a single immortal king - King Sulfur. Continents are now "categories" separating people in terms of talent. Aurelia, the protagonist, is apart of the beauty category. Although Elexia is a world in which everyone is satisfied, those in the beauty and slavery categories still face oppression. Those in her category are to become escorts and prostitutes when they're of age, not given an alternative choice in contrast to those in every other category. Aurelia was born to become the king's personal escort despite her impeccable talents in each category and when she was taken to the castle, she kept true to herself and held on to her sharp tongue. She soon realized that the castle hides many secrets. She was met with the anonymous eight who were King Sulfur's closest friends. No one knew their true purpose and looks beyond the castle's court because the castle's magic would erase everyone who stepped out's memory of them. The two strongest of the eight turn out to be the main love interests of Aurelia. While she tries to resolve her unrequited feelings for a man she formerly despised, she realizes that she has grown attached to the king. She simultaneously wrestles feelings for her old best friend and tries to discover with whom her heart truly lies. TW: oppression, sexism, vulgar language and scenes.
