"Do you wanna play a game?" he asked as we sat on the old couch while crickets chirped behind the tall dark trees "Depends on the game" I answered messing with the cushion that was falling out of the arm rest Calum, Michael and Ashton all came out from behind the trees staring at me waiting for a response "Hide and seek." he said smiling innocently "But if we find you, we kill you. And we will find you." Luke answered joining his three friends who all had large weapons in their hands I stood up and walked over to Luke standing on my tip toes to whisper in his ear "Game on"

My eyes shift between the four men in front of me, trying to get some sort of read on any of them. Anything that'll give me some sort of clue as to what's going on. "Looks like you have all the qualifications we're looking for," Luke says to me, snapping me out of my focus. He thens looks to the other boys, "If you guys don't have anything else for Averly, I say we hire her on." The three nod in agreement, and Luke turns back to me, grinning, "Congratulations, welcome to the team, Averly." I smile back, "Please, call me Ave, and thank you, I look forward to working with you boys." Then I hear it. I couldn't make out who it was at first, but now it's clear as day. I give a quick glance to Ashton, who's been quiet this entire interview - and now I know why. His head is so loud with thoughts, but one sticks out, repeating over and over. "I'm next. They're coming after me next."
