Humanity, united under the Terran Union, has successfully occupied Mars and has utterly overtaken and subjugated its population, displacing them and forcing them to work as laborers for Terran corporations. A band of young Martian refugees and war criminals from a minor revolutionary conflict have been roaming across the East in pursuit of shelter, safety from Terran forces, and most importantly, a new purpose for their chaotic and war ravaged lives.
