All Into Ashes (Carl Grimes Fanfic)

{A Walking Dead Fanfiction} My stomach screamed for food, my leg begging for for me to stop, my shoulder crying for support, my eyes canceling out things one by one. I was scared and alone, running through the streets trying not to get the attention of the dead. But then a dot in the distance seemed to grow, grow into a rectangle. Then, my knees gave out, throwing me to the ground. My arms couldn't push me up so I laid there, aching. One of the dead came around the corner and looked at me, not giving a second thought and darted towards me.

"This is it." I told myself and closed my eyes. All of the sudden the sound of a gun goes off, sending energy through me. I looked up and saw the rectangle that turned out to be a car. I reached and and screeched out a "help."

Next thing I know, a boy stands over me and says, "I'm Carl. Come with me."
