"Save and load, another path..."

"Save and load, another choice..."

"Save and load, another chance..."

This was the cycle for our Experiment and protagonist, "7", who always wanted to have a normal lifestyle ever since he was able to remember.
He wanted to be like the other people, no unique to them.
But he was unable to be like that, he was unable to be..."normal".

All because he was chosen to be a Experiment for scientists wanting to test out new drugs and god awful tests that seemed un-inkling.
They didn't care that it was against his will, they didn't care that they were hurting him.
They only cared if the experiments worked.
And because of this, it drove "7" to a breaking point that he cannot control over, no matter how hard he tried.
It was so terrible that it had been given the name of *REDACTED*, the name was chosen because of the events that took place in the *REDACTED*.
...
Now, years later...he arrived at a city, a city known as Inkopolis.
He has a choice of entering there for a chance of being what he always wanted to be.
Normal.

But if this is like all the other places he has been to...
He can always just load back into his savepoint...
Because...

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.
