Mariane and Davis's parents are killed in a terrible car accident. They are both moved into their grandparent's house. They hoped a new town, a new place, a new home would be enough to erase the terrible memories and terrible events, but boy was they wrong.

One night they are both invited to a Junior High Party at a friends' house. They notice a boy drinking and realize he is drunk. Soon, they find him lurking towards a boat deck. He gets on a boat, but he is sucked into the sea by a great tentacle before their eyes.
The siblings are too afraid to tell anybody.
More terrible things occur, what if this is the end of Shriner Shores' small town. What will happen
