The Abandoned Bookshelves

Nicholas Porter, a boy who all his life has felt distant from his "real" reality. He would daydream, hide in his room, and heavily invest in fantasy novels (or really novels of any kind) . He also has always imagined himself talking to celebrities, slaying mystic beasts, or becoming the villain in his own story. He starts searching for a rare book in an abandoned library (while tagging along his rambunctious friends). As he searches more and more, Nicholas realizes his fantasies, dreams, and thoughts might have been true all along.

What events will Nicholas view as he becomes stuck in a twisted metropolitan city with new friends with unworldy gifts, and will they survive a threat that wishes to wipe out everything as they know it?
