***Takes place during Captain America: Civil War***
Almost one year after Atlas and the Avengers take down HYDRA and the benders, and one year after Bucky goes missing for a second time (and the unofficial break-up between Atlas and Bucky), the Avengers are presented with a new problem that is bound to divide the team - the Sokovia Accords.
As she refused to sign the accords, Atlas thought she was ready to let being an Avenger go and was prepared to continue her second year at University, but when she sees the news making claims about the Winter Soldier in Vienna, she can't help but be reminded of all the memories she and Bucky had made a year ago.
Steve enlists Atlas's help, knowing that she and Bucky share a connection and that Atlas is more than capable of aiding the Captain in finding the Winter Soldier for a second time. And when Atlas and Bucky reunite, feelings resurface and civil wars arise. And in the midst of it all, Atlas finally realizes that life isn't just about success - it's about love, too.

The story takes place after the Accords and revolves around you, the reader. You are the Goddaughter of Tony Stark and his protege. You have helped with the Avengers since its birth and when the Accords were in talks before Steve found Bucky in Romania, you and Tony had a fallout. She had moved in to the apartment across from him, playing the friendly neighbour, which was a feat in itself. Lexi was never considered a friendly type of person. It was her mission, to help keep him safe, recover his past, and obtain any Hydra information. She makes sure to bump into him, while shopping for groceries, introducing herself, but she finds he's very closed off and guarded. Can she get through to him, or will he up and run again? When Hydra operatives come crashing through their complex, Lexi must make the choice, to stand and fight, or run. Will the two work together? It's been almost a month and a half since the destruction of Ultron and the city of Sokovia. No one has heard or seen Iris since. Little do they know that she's alive, well, and under the care of Carter, a man from her past. It isn't until Nick Fury picks Iris up from Carter's that Iris shows up unannounced at the New Avenger's facility, much to the bewilderment of the team. And, as always, Iris' luck is generally poor. After an accident on one of the New Avenger's missions, King T'Chaka of Wakanda brings up a serious concern that directly involves the Avengers and the way they work. Other issues arise and over 100 countries band together to create the Sokovia Accords. The Accords put the Avengers under the direct control of the United Nations, which strips the signing members of the freedom to fight when and where they believe they are needed. However, the Accords don't sit right with everybody on the team and it begins to tear friendships apart at the seams as some decide to sign. To make matters worse, a dirty bomb goes off and kills numerous people at the signing in Vienna. The worst part? Bucky Barnes is the one framed. Now he's the most wanted criminal in the world.
