"Rosalee! Get the hell out!"  Dustin yelled from across the warehouse. I shuddered at the firmness of his voice. Watching the two men point guns. Few bodies covered the floor that seemed to drown in a dark color of red. 


"Dustin.. please." I whisper finally, choking on my words. Trying to hold back the tears. "Let's just go. We'll go home.." I tried to persuade..


"No Rosalee. You will be the one going home."  He uttered to me. Me? Why just me? He had to come with me. I don't want to go without him. He shook his head, a tiny smile coming across his handsome features that I'd grown accustomed to. "Rose-". He tried to speak..but a shot rang out. Then suddenly another. Then more. I flinched at every loud bang. Falling to the ground as I tried to protect myself from the ricocheting bullets.

A Rehabilitationist, Rosalee Kaypir. Born with a disease this 23 year old woman works a ironically dangerous job and deals with an asshole of a boyfriend.

 He's in prison on "minor" charges, only earning him 5 years. He had men on the inside of the law, blackmailing and lessening his sentence, unfortunately.. it was apparent he couldn't get it reduced to nothing.
Something unexpected came up one unfortunate day. A girl who claimed to be from a rehab place for "people like him". She busted into his life with a heavy book and metal table and a mysterious glint in her eyes.
