Misha Singh's family has always taken pride in their ancestral traditions and customs. In the summer after graduating from high school, when Misha wants to explore her options in life, of going to college or trying out new hobbies, her family drops the arranged marriage bomb on her head. She curses herself for being foolish to expect that her family would move with the times and relax their conservative beliefs by the time she turned legal but her eighteenth birthday is round the corner and the pressure of marriage is only growing more stifling. Misha had seen her older cousins getting married, who she grew up under the same roof with, in their ancestral home with a giant family. She knew for a fact that love, happiness, fulfillment in an arranged marriage were miracles only a few were blessed with. If not being allowed to enjoy the pleasures of life until she was a bit older, she had at least hoped that she would marry for love. Faced with the horrors of getting trapped in a loveless marriage of convenience to a stranger, she decides she can't sit and watch someone else take the reins of her life. ||*Author's Note*|| Content has been rated *mature*, not because this will be a wild rave party from the start in every chapter, but because there will be an intense love story and I personally don't believe people strongly attracted to each other can keep their hands off each other. For people who are here to read steamy scenes because of the *mature* rating, I want to tell you that this will be a slow burn. Probably won't happen before the 20th chapter. Even a passionate romance is not all about just sex. However, I promise it will be good when it happens. That being said, I update stories twice a week - I might sometimes post an extra chapter if I have too much free time on my hands. But, it will be kind of you to not expect more than two updates in a week. Thank you! Now go on ahead and do let me know what you think. Happy reading :))
