I woke up dead.

Well I wasn't really dead but, I'd rather be. I'm being kept in a dungeon, while a war is going on in my kingdom. All because I wanted to help, and I threatened to run off into war.

So what if I'm a princess? Doesn't mean I cannot fight.

Humph, they need to learn their place.

To Let Go - Unedited

6 parts Complete Mature

Life within the desert's hot, dry heat has been my only home for as long as I can remember. Among a multitude of various other children, we were taken from the States to train as a specially trained soldier within the war-ridden kingdom of Saudi Arabia. My only goal within the compound for as long as I can remember was to win my freedom as an official tier-four Nightingale soldier, that was enough for me. It's simple; keep your head down and avoid the Chambers, then maybe someday you'll be free to do as you please without an escort's threatening presence at your back. So, imagine my gleeful surprise when finally - with my goal just beyond the horizon within reach - I've accomplished the impossible that many other recruits died trying to attain. I'm an official Nightingale. I have a bed to sleep in with three meals a day, and I train with my fellow recruits like usual without the weekly threat of the Ring hanging over my head. It's bliss - until it's not. Suddenly everything changes. Why? Ah, right. It was because of him. Was freedom truly something I wished to achieve? I'm not so sure anymore.
