The man, passing the house several times. The only time he walks. He walks past then continues to run. He's running more, passing the house once again. Then stops the man stops. A life changing decision. He walks again but not the other way. To the door. Trembling, He lifts his hand. He pulls it back, and knocks on the door.

I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor.
