Fat.
Too much fat.
That is all Kelly sees whenever she looks in the mirror. People always tell her that she looks fine, but she doesn't believe them. People always tell her to not care about what others say, but their words cut deeper than any knife. People always tell her to love herself, but how can she do that when there's not a single thing of herself to be loved?
Those people are also the only pillar of support she has in her life to not succumb to the dark depths of despair. But one tragic night took them all away. Now Kelly is thrust into an unfamiliar world, battling with the demons in her mind all alone.
Then she meets Nathaniel whose light so bright it keeps the monsters locked away in the dark.
He saved her.
But with love comes pain. A pain so great Kelly wished she had stayed away.
