Adrien Agreste was used to being pushed around, ordered around, and not according to him, but even sometimes abused by his father. But he never expected him to take every last freedom he had left away from him.
Gabriel has forced a future career path for Adrien. He never let him go to school, and has never let him do anything he wanted.
Adrien figured that once he was an adult and finally moved out that all of this would change, but once again he was wrong.
He has a forced future career path. And he's not even allowed to choose the girl he loves in the future.
He has been forced to date and someday marry, his childhood bestfriend, Chloe Bourgeois.
Even though he is against it, Adrien plans to deal with it, as he has pity for Chloe. Especially all of the awful stories Adrien has heard about Chloe being bullied in school by a monstrous girl named Marinette.
Adrien said if he ever met that girl, that she'd be sorry for hurting his bestfriend
