Noah's been fighting to stay alive nearly all his life. After a childhood incident took away his ability to speak and caused his mother to abandon him, he ends up in the foster care system. From one awful home to the next, Noah finds himself more alone than ever. Plagued by memories of past and current abuse, he's slowly losing that will to fight. 
    
    When he's picked up by his new social worker, Noah doesn't expect his new home to be any different from the others. But soon he finds himself settling into a comfortable life with something he never thought he'd have again. Family.
