In the land of Genovia, there ruled the highly respected Malik family. The only son of the royal family was the handsome prince, Zayn Malik. He was sent away to do his schooling at a very young age. Now at the age of twenty-one with a degree in Literature, he was finally returning home. The entire city was excited and getting ready for the prince's arrival.

A few miles from the castle, lived a beautiful common girl by the name of Genevieve Bell. Her mother worked as a maid in the castle. Genevieve herself had never been inside the castle. She only listened to her mother's stories about the grand place and the people. Now her mother had fallen ill and it was up to Genevieve to take her place in the castle.

When the two young people first meet, they have no clue of each others identity... and that's where the fun begins.
