As Mordecai keeps going on dates with Margaret, Rigby grows more and more distant.
One day, Margaret makes a move on Mordecai but Mordecai doesn't think it feels right, but he continues going with Margaret anyway. Overtime he loses his interest with Margaret and drift they apart to become friends.
At the same time, Rigbys brain is cooking up a storm of emotions for Mordecai, and he will need to let them out soon.
